Hoodia gordonii general info.
Hoodia gordonii: Hailed as the miracle plant.

The Miracle Plant

Hoodia gordonii was traditionally used by herder and Koi hunters as appetite suppressant. Ghaap was eaten raw and the herder or hunter was then able to herd or track the whole day without any hunger pains.

Hoodia has only recently been introduced to the western world where it is hailed as the miracle plant. Ghaap interestingly enough received this nickname because it has no known side effects. Due to global obese problems one can easily see why the name "miracle plant" was widely adopted. Many other species of Hoodia has reportedly similar effects, only milder. Thus H gordonii is hitting the world by storm.

Because it is a slow growing plant and extinction is feared it was recently placed on the CITES list. We only sell organiclly grown Ghaap. Free of pesticides and chemicals. Do not purchase this product from anywhere unless you are sure that it has been grown. You can and will be prosecuted if wild crafted material is found in your possession.

Hoodia gordonii is likely to be found as the hidden and secret agent in many diet products, or appetite control products of the future.
